Nelson Ng first started a restaurant in Kirribilli in 1988 called “Thai Connection”. Then at the same time while still operating Thai Connection opened another in North Sydney called “Nelson Thai” in 1996.

Then February 2003 he sold both restaurants and opened what is now known as I Thai at the King St Wharf. I Thai’s modern approach to Thai cuisine is coupled with fantastic location at the King Street Wharf.
